Meet the Teachers
Thank you to those parents who attended our Meet the Teachers events in person or online. I hope you have found the time to be useful. Next week’s lineup:
- Monday, August 31 – Grade 10 at 4:00 p.m. Covered Court
- Tuesday, September 1 – Diploma Programme at 4:00 p.m. Covered Court
- Thursday, September 3 – K/1 at 4:00 p.m. Covered Court (Child sitting available by Secondary students)
Parental Permission
The Permission Agreement sent yesterday is anticipatory and we will keep it on hand for WHEN we can formally bring students back to campus. A separate copy of the agreement is required for each child attending. Thank you for signing over an official stamp and helping us have the required documentation on hand if and when it is required.
As noted in my email, if your family is not ready to attend – or for some reason makes a decision to stay home after beginning to attend, BIS will continue to provide Distance Learning for your child.
Distance Learning Next Steps
Ibu Yunita, our Indonesian Principal, attended a meeting this morning with the Ministry of Education. There are some positive signs coming from this meeting which may allow us to have students on campus in the near future. I am hesitant to raise hopes, but this news is promising. I look forward to sharing more next Friday, if not before.
Enrollment
I am pleased to announce that Bali Island School enrollment is strong. All classes are staffed and progressing well in both Primary and Secondary. Thank you for your continued support of BIS. #GoDragons
