Message from the Head of School – March 5, 2021

PPKM Measures remain in place through March 22 as the government announced yesterday evening. BIS will remain in 100% Distance Learning mode complying with all government regulations until this changes.

If and when these measures are lifted we will return as soon as possible to our Support of Distance Learning program. Teachers will communicate the Support program via Zooms and Google Meets.

BIS International Festival
Thank you for supporting the PTA initiative to pull off our annual celebration of diversity virtually this year. Your input into the survey shared yesterday will prompt the formation of country groupings and then we are Away! If you haven’t filled it out yet – please do so here – BIS International Day Survey.

Be thinking about creative ways your country can share your culture with our community.

Conferences
Conferences for students in grades K-12 will occur on March 9. You will receive the sign-up instructions for individual teacher conferences in an email today. Thank you for making these powerful conversations a priority in your home.

Personal Project Exhibition
Feel free to drop in to witness the amazing efforts of our Grade 10 students on Wednesday morning, March 10 from 8:40-9:25 at the links below. The exhibition provides students an opportunity to share the process, achievements and reflections on a year long focused project of their choice.

Congratulations to our dedicated Grade 10 students for completing this significant challenge!
