Mr. Miller
Thank you all for making Mr. Miller feel so welcome this week. He enjoyed meeting the team and leaves with great optimism for the future of BIS.

Kartini Day
Please encourage your child to observe Kartini Day next Thursday, April 21 by dressing up in Indonesian traditional clothing for the day and bringing in school supplies to support a local orphanage.

CAS Fair
Please support our Seniors as they share their efforts over the past 24 months to help our community. Covered court at 2:00 p.m. Come and see how BIS students impact communities in positive and lasting ways.

April 20-23
Ibu Yunita will be in charge next week from Wednesday onwards, as Jackie and I do a site visit at our new school. Thank you to Ibu Yunita and the Coordinators for assisting as needed.

Things are getting busy at BIS
We have plenty of events that will help celebrate our students’ growth and learning over the next month or two. Please have a good look at the calendar and support your child as you are able to.

South Gate Drop-off
Please do not park your car to drop off at the South Gate drop-off area – it is now a drop-off zone only – meaning the driver stays in the car and leaves as the students disembark. The families who live on the gangs near there are complaining about traffic and an inability to access their homes at drop-off and pick-up times. Please use our North Parking Lots if you need to park your car and walk your child into campus. Thank you.

Everyone is invited to enjoy the IB DP Art Exhibit which will be held at the Sudamala Resort on May 6 between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. Our IB DP Artists will be there to share their journey and efforts. We hope you will drop in and visit the exhibition. The Exhibit will be available for viewing on Saturday and Sunday as well 12 noon until 8:00 p.m.
