Message from the Head of School – February 3, 2023

We are still waiting for the printing company to finish our car stickers for the updated pick-up and drop-off procedures. I shall keep everyone updated as to when this will commence.

Thank you all to those who attended the “Youth Dangers in Bali” session on Thursday, organized by our counsellor, Ibu Noortje. The session was very well attended, and I encourage you to continue to attend future sessions to hear how we can help you as parents. This was a fantastic example of our Core Values being demonstrated.

ISA testing will occur for all students from Grade 3 to Grade 10 on the following dates;

  • Primary: 06th, 07th and 08th February
  • Secondary: 08th, 09th and 10th February

Further details of the test procedures have already been sent in a separate email. Meanwhile, please take the time to read this privacy statement.

As promised, I will be sending out a PPT of all the new faculty members whom we have secured to date for next academic year. As you will see, they come with a long and deep history of IB experience. The onboarding process is well under way, and as also previously stated, introductions will shortly be made to our Grade 11 students to make the transition process seamless. Please check your email to see the PPT.

The railings and gates at our pre-school classroom entrance have been replaced, and the ‘sails’ that provide protection from the sun in the primary play area have been reinstated after the recent storm damage.

Future dates for the diary:

  • Wednesday, 15th February, is a school half-day for teacher professional development and strategic planning.
  • Friday, March 17th, 3-way/student-led conferences.
