IMG_5954_resizedEssential Question – Why is it important to raise awareness regarding plastic bags and what are alternative uses?

Workshop Description – We strive to educate the Balinese people on alternative uses of plastic bags, setting our goal to have the island say NO to plastic bags by 2018. To illustrate and raise awareness on our target, we will be creating an art piece using recycled plastic bags and other plastic materials. Students will contribute to this project by signing and painting the canvas using different techniques with the plastic bags. The final product will be displayed in numerous places in hopes of raising awareness on this issue, as well as spreading our campaign.
