Message from the Head of School – March 10, 2021
Congratulations to all of our faculty, students, and parents for successfully completing Term III. The conferences went very well yesterday – thank you all for your participation. I recommend students boil down each of the conversations they had with their teachers yesterday and create one goal for Term IV – extracting the highest priority recommendation. Write it down and post it near the desk/workspace so that you will have a goal to work towards – come March 22.
Nyepi is a time for reflection and introspection. I hope it provides you with that opportunity. I encourage you to de-screen as well. Take time to enjoy nature, a board game, making a meal together as a family, and exercise. We all need to enjoy some meaningful balance.
I will be communicating with you about Term IV plans next week. We know that the PPKM measures will be in place until March 22, so we will begin with our Distance Learning program in place.
BIS International Festival
Thank you for supporting the PTA initiative to pull off our annual celebration of diversity virtually this year. Your input into the survey shared yesterday will prompt the formation of country groupings and then we are away! If you haven’t filled it out yet – please do so here – BIS International Day Survey.
Be thinking about creative ways your country can share your culture with our community.
