Message from the Head of School – April 18, 2019
I would like to thank the following parents who met with representatives from the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) this week. Thank you for providing your thoughts on our school and how we can best improve our programs.

Our Board met with the CIS/WASC representatives on Tuesday morning and then throughout the Election day morning as well. Thank you for being so involved in the process of school improvement and for leading our school through the accreditation.

Special recognition is due to our Indonesian teaching staff and ministry liaisons who worked tirelessly throughout the past two weeks to ready our school for a PYP and MYP inspection by the Ministry of Education on Monday. This visit was announced with very little warning. Our team went right to work and helped BIS meet all of the requirements fully. Thank you to this wonderful team!

Finally, I would like to thank our faculty and staff who helped our school look so good over the past few days and for reflecting on how we can improve our school.
