PTA eNews Updates – September 20, 2019

Quote of the week:

“Look for something positive in each day, even if some days you have to look a little further.”

Off to College!
For those of you with children soon to be heading off to college please be aware we have some collages visiting our school to provide information and workshops on the following dates:
Friday 27th September in the morning
Tuesday 1st October in the afternoon

Kupu-Kupu Foundation
On Jane’s most recent visit to the Kupu-Kupu Foundation, she was made aware that the charity would love for children to also visit and just spend time playing with the other children there. We think this is a beautiful idea and would encourage any parents who would like to take their child/children to visit, to please contact Jane.

Some Friendly Reminders:
Please give blood – “When you give blood you give another birthday, another anniversary, another day at the beach, another night under the stars, another talk with a friend, another laugh, another hug, another chance.”

Each donation saves three lives!!

BIS International Day

Dear BIS families from around the world,

What better way to teach our children about different cultures than by bringing them together for an afternoon of food and fun.

Friday 18th October will be our 4th annual BIS International day. Get ready to celebrate by showcasing our national and cultural diversity. We hope to have as many countries represented as possible, with food, games, traditional clothing or country colors to show off what makes us all unique. Please keep an eye out for an email with relevant information and further details.

In the meantime, you can also contact Allison Jaquier (ajaquier@gmail.com) or the PTA at pta@baliis.net.
